Customer Agreement

The customer should be present at the time of template. If that is not possible, it is the customer’s responsibility for arranging someone to be present at time of template. This person will be responsible for answering any questions that the templater might have and for signing off on the template dimensions when finished.

The customer must make sure that all base cabinetry is installed, anchored in place and level prior to the template date. All filler/end panels also need to be installed prior to template. If cabinets are not anchored or level at the date of template, the appointment will be rescheduled for a later date.

A 50% deposit is due to Creative Habitats before the date of template. Material will not be ordered until payment is received, delay in payment may result in delay of installation. There will be a template fee of $200 if the job is cancelled after template, which will be deducted from the 50% deposit and the remainder will be refunded. Remaining balance is due at time of installation.
The customer must have all sinks and faucets on site at time of template. Any major appliances that touch or fit into the cabinetry should also be on site. If not, a $250 charge for return visit to mount will occur.

Creative Habitats is not responsible for any plumbing work, such as the disconnection or re-connection of drains, faucets, and other items related to the countertop installation. Plumbing work must be completed prior to the demolition and installation phase. Countertop installers are neither plumbers nor electricians; therefore the homeowner is responsible for the work and should hire a licensed plumber and electrician.
